Based in London’s Design District, Ravensbourne University is renowned for its strong industry links and nurtures a close-knit global network of creators, makers, and innovators. Established in 1962, Ravensbourne has a strong educational heritage and fosters enterprise and innovation within a forward-focused academic community.
Home to over 4,000 students, the university is a progressive, industry-focused institution offering a portfolio of specialist, practice-based courses in business, computing, design, digital media, and fashion. Students will graduate with a repertoire of specialist skills and industry-related knowledge to build successful careers spanning digital media and the creative arts.

Many courses at Ravensbourne also provide international trips. These included 24 Fashion Buying and Brand Management students who went to Sri Lanka to see large-scale manufacture at a carbon-neutral sustainable manufacturing plant and 25 students invited to work as facilitators at the World Architecture Festival (WAF), which ran in Berlin, Germany.

Alumni
Music legend David Bowie, fashion designer Stella McCartney, 2012 Olympic torch designer Jay Osgerby and The King's Speech and Oscar-winning producers Simon Egan and Gareth Unwin were all trained here. Thousands more Ravensbourne alumni are making waves across their professions, with many picking up industry awards.
Ophelia Liu, artist, model and winner of Glow Up BBC Netflix S2, was a BA (Hons) Fashion Apparel Design graduate in 2017: "I had an amazing time studying Fashion Apparel Design at Ravensbourne University London. I was taught by innovative professionals who gave me direct industry experience.
"Not only did I have the opportunity to work on London Fashion Week two years in a row, but I was delighted to win the VC corporation's future of denim competition in collaboration with Ravensbourne. It's thanks to my time at Ravensbourne that I have had the confidence and creativity to pursue a career as a fashion designer and make-up artist."
Former Ravensbourne students have also won Product Design Awards and created ingenious edible packaging.
